Waverley Kids are AWESOME KIDS!
The team have decided that the most urgent issue to address over the term is being safe and responsible as pedestrians. They were able to identify many unsafe incidents where students and parents have been unsafe, particularly at 3 pm. Dangerous behaviours such as parents calling kids across the road, students getting into the car on the road side, running across St Andrew St instead of on the pedestrian crossing. Helen believes through the vehicle of the council, these students will be show fabulous leadership skills.
